About
Art and altered states of consciousness have been linked across cultures for centuries.
The Psychedelic Arts Society is a global community of contemporary artists, arts adjacent practitioners, and supporters of the arts exploring the multidirectional relationship between altered states and creative practice. We are a peer-led, arts-first organization for connection, exchange, and dialogue as psychedelic awareness permeates mainstream consciousness.
We welcome:
Artists: Painters, writers, musicians, sculptors, filmmakers, performers, and others whose practice has been influenced by psychedelics and altered states.
Arts adjacent practitioners: Healers, psychotherapists, researchers, scientists, philosophers, and others in complementary disciplines.
Supporters of the arts: Collectors, gallerists, curators, patrons, journalists, and others inspired by and invested in this work.
Events
The society hosts gatherings, including social events and online talks, led by members and guest artists, writers, and researchers.
